| At first the thought of washing cloth diapers was enough to make me want to use disposables. Then I heard of a diaper service where they would drop off enough cotton prefolds to last me a week. At the end of the week I would set the diapers outside my door and magically a new set of diapers would appear. All I had to do was buy and wash diaper covers. The covers that the service sold were rough on my baby's skin, and I did not feel that the cost was much different than disposable diapers. I gave up. Diaper rash soon set in so I began using a washcloth and water instead of store bought wipes. Still some diaper rash, and I could not stand the smell of those disposables!

| A few months later someone showed me a pocket diaper. I was amazed at how soft and easy to use it was. I bought a few and gave washing diapers a shot. Washing the diapers was not as big of a deal as I had thought. My baby's rash had disappeared and I began feeling guilty everytime I put him in a disposable diaper.

| I have tried many different types of cloth diapers since then and am amazed at the options. Cloth diapers soon became an addiction and I wanted to sell what I loved.
